Went to look at the house today. Although I find the outside color a bit dark, it is a beautiful house. There is not much yard, but the decks with the fire pit and hot tub are enough. Don't really care for a lot of upkeep. The layout is close to the last year one that is next door. Good luck everyone! - Don C.

You need the prizes to be grand, its what pulls people in. You need to put peoples numbers back in the barrel, it is what makes the odds 1 in 10 chance of winning. Bottom line - lotteries are gambling, they are a game of chance, if you can't afford to lose it keep your money in your wallet. Better yet, consider it a donation to a worthy cause with a little dream attached as a repayment and don't worry about what you would do with a $50 stool that you'll probably never have the occasion to actually have to deal with. The lottery sells out early every year, makes a tremendous amount of money for a worthy cause, obviously the formula works so don't change a thing... and congrats to everyone that makes it works, everyone who buys a ticket and cheers to all of those who donate their time and services to make this happen - Angie N.
Well said! I'm having so much fun fantasizing about what I would do if I won what. But what it all comes down to is...I'll be happy even if I don't win because, like you said, it's a donation to a worthy cause! - Melissa K.

Instead of a condo I would love to see the second prize be a $150,000.00 home renovation. That is something everyone wants! - lori M.
Not everyone who buys a ticket has a home already. You could possibly win the jag and have the option of taking $100,000 instead. It looks like all of the vehicle prizes allow you to take cash instead. - Stephen M.
Also I am fairly certain you could sell the 600,000.00 condo for a lot more than 150,000.00 to pay for your home renovation if you won it. - Stephen M.

After the grand prize is drawn, each ticket should only be drawn ONCE, then put aside and not put back in the pool to be allowed to win multiple prizes off of one ticket. You would have MORE winners and it would actually be a fair lottery. Tickets are NOT free or cheap and the only time one person should win multiple times is if they buy more than one ticket. - Stacy G.

I think the condo looks particularly cold and sparsely furnished. It looks tiny and uninviting. Kitchen looks incredibly small...I would have added color and selected something other than the cow hide rug. Not a home I would live in, sorry. - donna T.
Sadly I must agree. A home needs to be inviting, warm, comfortable and functional. The specs said the theme was to be "Elegant European style, were old meets new. Paris apartment look and feel." The Kitchen looks cold and the living room looks like a hunter's cabin with lawn furniture for a dining room set. Not sure what the furry stool is to be used for. I just don't see the elegance and I don't see Paris. - Stephen M.
This is a beautifully decorated, sophisticated look. Not sure what you're seeing, but it's not suppose to look like a 'man cave'. - Brenda M.

This house has a charm about it. What we have is a totally unique design here. It definitely has elements of craftsman design. I love the front porch, stone detailing, the exterior cladding and proportions while the multilevel rear deck is a real plus. The house is large enough to be comfortable without being excessive. The choice of furnishings and paint colours is brilliant. This house is without a doubt the most inspiring home I have ever seen. Congratulations to the interior designers, builder, architect, volunteers and all who were involved. Prediction: an early sell out. Score: a perfect 10. - Jonathan Y.
+1 - Love that tower and I think this builder (Denim Homes) has moved the quality level bar upwards with the materials used on this one and the last one they built. No vinyl siding here. It makes sense since this is a great marketing opportunity for all companies and designers to advertise there products as well, so one would think they would put their best foot forward! - Stephen M.

I think people on here with nothing but negative things to say should not have their comments posted in my opinion. This fundraiser is for a good cause and they should be ashamed of themselves for posting such negative comments. Many of the suppliers of the furnishings have greatly discounted the products and many people have given their time for free to make this happen. I have heard nothing but great comments about the design and furniture of the condo. After all these people are buying a ticket to win it; not to get a mortgage on it. - Bruce N.
I have purchased a ticket every year and I always consider it a donation. I can accept your criticism but truly believe I am entitled to voice mine as well as is anyone else. I still think the furniture in the condo is hideous and believe the winner should be given enough money to furnish it themselves. The house is fantastic and the furniture is appropriate. But that is just my opinion for what it is worth and I am definitely not ashamed to have one or to voice it. Same with those who like the cottages on the lake over the condo. All the power to them to voice their opinions. - Stephen M.

I have always wondered if the anticipated value of the home(s) is the value of the home and furnishings inclusive. Certainly, in a 4-5000 sq. ft. home the furnishings must amount to $50 to $100k of value - or are the furnishings even included? Perhaps the homes are merely staged as furnished for show? Some have been decorated beautifully but some of them . . . errrrr. At any rate, I don't anticipate it will be much of a concern for me - after 15 years I don't think I could win a prize if I were the only one buying them, but as lottery odds go these are likely the best and it is a great cause : ) - Robert R.
